Dale B. Rycraft Jr.

Dale has been litigating real estate, construction, and business matters for over 20 years. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

  • Represented a subcontractor in a complex jury trial involving multiple parties, claims, counterclaims, and cross claims, that was tried to verdict. Client was awarded $1.6 million.
  • Prevailed on behalf of a bank REO department in a quiet title action to correct a title problem caused by a clerical mistake in the legal description on the recorded documents.
  • Negotiated resolution of dispute between a bank REO department and an HOA involving the obligation to purchase a golf membership when title to property located in a golf community was transferred to the bank through non-judicial foreclosure.
  • Litigated multi-million dollar deficiency actions against failed real estate developers. Represented the FDIC and one of the nine investment companies selected to work-out toxic loans related to the banking crisis.
  • Defended a bank in a lien priority dispute where the contractors claimed the mechanic’s lienholders had priority over the bank’s deed of trust on a failed multi-million condominium project in Las Vegas, NV.
  • Represented contractors in several multi-million dollar mechanic’s lien cases in Las Vegas, NV, including cases involving the Aladdin Hotel & Casino, the Venetian Hotel & Casino, and the Southern Nevada Water Authority. Water Treatment Plant.
