Blake & Pulsifer, PLC is forever indebted to our founding member, Ronald K. Blake, who passed on January 30, 2026. Ron graduated from the Arizona State University College of Law in 1974 and focused his practice on commercial litigation, real estate, and helping small businesses reach their full potential. He retired from the firm in 2018. Ron’s free time was filled with racecars, skiing, windsurfing, learning Spanish, playing the guitar, mountain biking, photography, and travel. He was a true Renaissance man.
Ron’s mentorship and gentlemanly approach to the law will be his legacy. He always treated clients, colleagues, opposing parties, and counsel with dignity and respect. He undertook every problem with an open mind and collaborative approach. He was an incredibly sharp lawyer, a thoughtful strategist, an excellent writer, and a steady advocate. Intelligence, kindness, compassion, and integrity were his guiding stars. He was a thoughtful, kind, and generous business partner.
Ron is survived by his charming wife, Marcia, who worked at the firm for many years, keeping Ron (and all the rest of us) in check and organized. Ron is also survived by two beautiful daughters, Karen and Julie, and several grandchildren.
He is deeply missed.
